NMMS scholarship 2025: నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ స్కీమ్ 2025

అర్హులైన విద్యార్థులు అక్టోబర్ 18వ తేదీలోగా ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.

NMMS scholarship 2025 వివరాలు:-

ఈ పథకానికి ఎంపికైన లక్ష మంది విద్యార్థులకు నెలకు రూ.1000 చొప్పున ఏడాదికి మొత్తం రూ.12000 స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌గా అందిస్తారు.

తొమ్మిదో తరగతి నుంచి ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌ పూర్తిచేసే వరకు ఉపకారవేతనం లభిస్తుంది.

అర్హత:-

విద్యార్థులు ప్రభుత్వ/ప్రభుత్వ అనుబంధ పాఠశాలలు లేదా స్థానిక సంస్థల పాఠశాలల్లో 8వ తరగతిలో చదువుతూ ఉండాలి.

వారి తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం రూ.3.50 లక్షలకు మించకూడదు.

విద్యార్థులు 7వ తరగతిలో కనీసం 55శాతం మార్కులతో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించి ఉండాలి (ఎస్సీ/ ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులకు 5శాతం సడలింపు ఉంటుంది).

గమనిక:-

కేంద్రీయ విద్యాలయాలు, నవోదయలు, రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్స్‌, ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలలో చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులకు ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ వర్తించదు.

వయోపరిమితి:

సాధారణంగా 13-15 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో 8వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులు అర్హలు.

రాత పరీక్ష:

ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌కు అర్హులైన అభ్యర్థులను ఎంపిక చేసేందుకు రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో రాత పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

పరీక్ష విధానం:

మొత్తం ప్రశ్నలు- మార్కులు :- 180

1. మెంటల్ ఎబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (మ్యాట్‌):–

90 మల్టిపుల్ చాయిస్ ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. మొత్తం 90 మార్కులు. ప్రతి ప్రశ్నకు ఒక మార్కు ఉంటుంది. నెగెటివ్ మార్కింగ్ లేదు.

2. స్కాలస్టిక్ ఆప్టిట్యూడ్ టెస్ట్ (శాట్‌):–

90 మల్టిపుల్ చాయిస్ ప్రశ్నలు. మొత్తం 90 మార్కులు. 7, 8 తరగతుల స్థాయిలో సోషల్‌, సైన్స్, మ్యాథ్స్‌ ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు. ప్రతి ప్రశ్నకు ఒక మార్కు ఉంటుంది. నెగెటివ్ మార్కింగ్ లేదు.

దరఖాస్తు విధానం:

https://bse.telangana.gov.in/NMMS.aspx ద్వారా ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.

దరఖాస్తును స్కూల్, జిల్లా, రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలలో ధృవీకరిస్తారు.

ధృవీకరణ అనంతరం విద్యార్థి బ్యాంక్ ఖాతాలో డైరెక్ట్ గా స్కాలర్‌షిప్ జమ చేస్తారు.

దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు:

BC/ జనరల్ విద్యార్థులకు	Rs.100-00
SC/ST/PHC విద్యార్థులకు	Rs. 50-00

ముఖ్య విషయాలు:-

ఒక్కో విద్యార్థికి రూ.12,000 ప్రతి సంవత్సరం అందుతుంది.

స్కాలర్‌షిప్ అత్యధికంగా 4 సంవత్సరాల పాటు తొమ్మిదో తరగతి నుంచి పన్నెండో తరగతి వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది.

పదో తరగతిలో కనీసం 60శాతం మార్కులు (ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీ 55%) సాధించాలి.

ఏదైనా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ను ఒకే సమయంలో రెండవదాన్ని పొందలేరు.

స్కాలర్‌షిప్ ఎన్‌ఎస్‌పీ ద్వారా మాత్రమే పొందవచ్చు.

ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో మాత్రమే చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులకు వర్తిస్తుంది.

విద్యార్థులు మ్యాట్‌ & శాట్‌ పరీక్షల్లో కనీసం 40శాతం మార్కులు (ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీలు 32శాతం) సాధించాలి.

ముఖ్య తేదీలు:

దరఖాస్తులు ప్రారంభం: 04.09.2025.

దరఖాస్తు చివరి తేదీ: 18.10.2025.

ఎన్‌ఎంఎంఎస్‌ఎస్‌ పరీక్ష సాధారణంగా ప్రతి సంవత్సరం నవంబర్/డిసెంబర్ నెలలో నిర్వహిస్తారు.

Dates for submission of printed copy of online registered Application Forms and NR (two copies) and fee receipts of SBI collect by the Head Masters of the schools concerned in the office of concerned District Educational Officer. (Printed Application form & NR must be attested by concerned Head Master.)(Attested copy of caste certificate for BC/SC/ST and medical certificate for PH should be enclosed. Otherwise they will be treated as General candidates. Income certificate should be enclosed for all candidates. Otherwise application will be cancelled/rejected).	10-10-2025 to 22-10-2025
Dates for submission of Printed Nominal Rolls attested by concerned Head Masters, and fee receipts of SBI collect by the concerned DEOs to the O/o the Director of Government Examinations., T.G., Hyderabad.	13-10-2025 to 24-10-2025

The Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched centrally sponsored National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (N.M.M.S.S). Under this scheme an examination will be conducted every year for the students studying class VIII in Government/ Local Body/Municipal/Aided Schools/ Modal schools which have no residential facility(i.e. from non-Residential Schools only) and selected candidates are eligible for getting the scholarship.

The candidates who got minimum 55% of marks in case of OC/BC candidates and 50% in case of SC/ST in VII Standard and studying class VIII from above said schools with parental income by not exceeding Rs. 3,50,000/- p.a. are eligible to apply for this examination.

Pattern of Examination is as follows:-

Mental Ability Test (M.A.T) – 90 marks multiple choice questions.Scholastic Ability Test.(S.A.T) – 90 marks covering sciences, mathematics and social sciences of class VII & VIII. Each question carries one mark.Time is one minute for one question.

Qualifying percentage is as follows:-

The minimum qualifying marks for each paper will be 40% and in case of SC/ST students this cut off will be 32%.

Selection will be made as per the merit subject to district wise and community wise quota allotted as per norms issued by MHRD New Delhi.

The selected beneficiaries should register and up load their Aadhar linked bank account particulars in National Scholarship Portal in stipulated time by opening the bank accounts in any nationalized bank which have online clearing system only to get scholarship Rs 12000 per year.
